Job Summary: As a Sauna Attendant, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping the studio glowing. You’ll ensure every suite is refreshed, spotless, and ready for the next guest, protecting the integrity of the beem® experience. This is a physical, fast-paced position perfect for someone who takes pride in precision, hustles with purpose, and follows processes flawlessly.
Your work directly shapes how our members feel when they step into their private sanctuary.
Responsibilities:
Studio Cleanliness & Suite Refresh
- Maintain pristine standards across all sauna suites, restrooms, red light rooms, and common areas, ensuring everything reflects beem®’s luxury wellness standard.
- Complete efficient suite turnovers between appointments, including:
- Removing and replacing towels
- Sanitizing benches, glass, handles, and touch surfaces
- Resetting the suite with towels, mint towels, wipes, and amenities
- Checking iPad placement, sauna temperature, timers, and chromotherapy lighting
- Clean and restock bathrooms and showers throughout the shift.
Towel & Laundry Management
- Fold, roll, and organize towels to maintain adequate supply throughout all business hours.
- Keep stock rooms, laundry areas, and supply closets clean and orderly.
- Track and separate “reject towels” that need to be removed from rotation.
Back-of-House Operations
- Restock cleaning carts, suite supplies, and operational materials as needed.
- Remove trash and recycling from all studio spaces daily.
- Support general studio upkeep including floors, mirrors, surfaces, and retail-area tidiness.
Studio Operations & Maintenance
- Perform weekly sauna maintenance checks, including:
- Ensuring sauna doors close smoothly and latch properly
- Checking door handles, hinges, and screws for tightness
- Inspecting heater panels and backrests for stability
- Reporting any issues immediately to the Studio Manager
- Monitor suites for any wear-and-tear (loose nails, stained benches, lighting issues) and escalate maintenance needs promptly.
Team Support
- Follow instructions with consistency and accuracy, every time.
- Communicate maintenance concerns or suite issues promptly to the manager.
- Support the wellness sales team as needed, contributing to overall studio flow.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work briefly in heated environments (135°F+)
- Ability to follow checklists and operational processes precisely
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, team-oriented and dependable
- Availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends preferred
- Reliable transportation for studio shifts
Compensation: $16.50 per hour
